GRIEF, DEATH & ART 〰️

Hello! I’m Kaitlyn, a queer Jewish death doula, grief worker, and visual artist based in Los Angeles. I specialize in holistic end-of-life care, offering compassionate death and grief support to individuals and families. My personal practice blends art, Jewish mysticism, and plant magic. I am currently pursuing an MA in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Depth Psychology and Spirituality.

I am passionate about tending to personal and communal grief. Whether you are seeking end-of-life planning, grief support, or spiritual care, I am here to walk alongside you on this journey.

As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I am especially committed to creating safe, inclusive spaces for those navigating death, dying, and bereavement where my clients feel fully seen and supported.

testimonials

  • “To be witnessed in my grief was even more powerful than I imagined. It meant a lot to me to feel like my complex emotions and feelings were validated and acknowledged by someone. Kaitlyn is excellent at holding space, I felt held and safe. She made me feel like what I was feeling in the moment was ok and there was no need to change anything or try to “fix it”. Instead, Kaitlyn gave me permission to allow my complex grief to be what it was. And that simple act greatly reduced the intensity of what I was feeling.”

  • “Kaitlyn helped me immensely on my grief journey during multiple witnessing sessions. It was invaluable to have her support as I drudged up some deeply buried feelings and memories, and we were able to begin a new healing process. Kaitlyn provided tea, a meditation, and an open ear as I recounted details around my mother’s death from 20 years prior. The most valuable thing that I learned about my grief story is that I was unable to honestly describe my mother’s personality and her flaws. Our session lead me to get in touch with the whole story and I was able to accept my mother fully. Working with Kaitlyn was a powerful experience and I am grateful to her.”

  • "Sitting next to the flowing river, Kaitlyn opened and held space for two big anticipated losses I was facing, and helped me map them to the web of deep generational grief I carry from my past. I can honestly say that I have been able to dance with and move through both experiences with a profound sense of connection to myself in a way I wouldn’t have been able to do without her help. Her work is embodied, gentle, witchy, and heart-opening."
